In the summer of 2020, Soren’s 10-year-old niece approached him with a captivating idea for a short horror film. Despite having limited equipment and a tight timeline, they quickly collaborated to create a screenplay and meticulously planned the shoot. With the support of their family, they managed to complete the entire production in just six hours the following day.

This project marked Soren’s first experience composing music for a film, adding a thrilling new dimension to the creative process. The success of the first film led to the creation of two sequels, each released two years apart, forming a chilling horror trilogy: Brooke’s Trip, Brooke’s Christmas, and Brooke’s Nightmare. Born from the vivid imagination of a 10-year-old, this unique series showcases the power of collaboration, creativity, and the unexpected magic that can happen when passion meets opportunity.
